Morgantown High School (MHS) is a four-year public high school in the small city of Morgantown, West Virginia. MHS is one of three high schools in the Monongalia County Schools district. Morgantown is considered an urban area and is home to two universities and colleges. The minority enrollment at Morgantown High School is 20 percent and 29 percent of students at MHS are economically disadvantaged.
In order to graduate, Morgantown High School students must complete a four-year personalized plan that includes their choice of career clusters and pathways.
Students seeking more rigorous courses in preparation for college enrollment may chose to enroll one or more of 24 Advanced Placement courses offered at MHS. If exam scores qualify, students may apply for college dual credits.
